ShirLee has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing-National University in San Diego, CA, and a Bachelor's degree in music/communication-Weber State University, Ogden, UT. She is an Associate Broker in real estate in the residential home market for over twenty-eight years. She is happily switching her workload in real estate services to a manageable pace by spending quality time on her writing endeavors.

My characters love to do the unthinkable, having no boundaries, and surprise even me! My writings include exploring friendships, courage, family, pets and wildlife, self-improvement, funny/humorous, sad, scary, Earth, the Universe, and the power of my active imagination. Stories can help us understand our lives, relationships, and our contribution to others in the world around us.

ShirLee has published works in music, poetry, fictional short stories, novel series, and children's books. The Green Galaxy Series with "Centaurius: The Prophecy," is her first novel debut that brings to life the concerns and questions in this intriguing speculative Sci-fi/Fantasy Space Opera. The story is unique and ties in real-world issues to a fictional realm with important historical facts and a creative call to action with thought-provoking questions about the future of our planet, Earth. Centaurius Into the Fracas, Book Two continues the saga and is an epic read and is now available here, on Amazon, and where most books are sold.

In Centaurius the Prophecy, book one in the Green Galaxy Series, we are introduced to a world where human activities have led to severe environmental degradation on planet Earth. The protagonist, Nella, the princess warrior of Centaurius, embarks on a journey to uncover the ancient prophecy that warns of impending doom unless humanity changes its ways. Centaurius and Earth mirror each other so what happens to one eventually seeps through the spiral waves of the universe to affect the other. Through her adventures, we witness the devastating consequences of pollution, deforestation, and the depletion of natural resources on planet Earth.
Using fictional characters and imagination as well as real-life events, past, present, and future, the story serves as a wake-up call, highlighting the urgent need for action to protect our planet. It emphasizes that the changes occurring on Earth are not isolated incidents but interconnected events that impact every living being. From the smallest organisms to the largest ecosystems, all life is affected.
Centaurius Into the Fracas, book two in the Green Galaxy Series continues the tale with Nella, the Centaurian princess warrior, joining forces with Allen, the Earth Warrior, to explore the far-reaching consequences of failing to address these issues and engage in battle against universal enemies. The dire and inhospitable future depicted in the series is a stark reminder of what may lie ahead if we continue down the same destructive path.
